Maintaining Your Credential
To maintain the Certified Dietary Manager, Certified Food Protection Professional (CDM, CFPP) credential, you must pay the annual certification renewal fee as well as earn and report a minimum of 45 hours of eligible continuing education (CE) every three years, including nine CE hours in Sanitation and Safety and, effective June 1, 2019, one CE hour pertaining to Professional Ethics. Effective June 1, 2019, to submit a CE activity, all required documentation must be submitted.
