You are eligible to take the exam if you meet the requirements of one of the five pathways outlined. The most popular pathway is by graduating from an ANFP-approved dietary manager training program, which includes 120 hours of didactic education plus 150 hours of field experience.

Maintain Your Credentials

To maintain the Certified Dietary Manager, Certified Food Protection Professional (CDM, CFPP) credential, you must earn 45 hours of continuing education (CE) every three years. At least nine of your continuing education hours must be in sanitation
and food safety.
